Besides Director Electrical Safety, There are 02 sanctioned post of Joint Director, 06 posts of Deputy Director and 04 posts of Assistant Director in Head Quarter at Lucknow. Regional office Head is Deputy Director and under him, Posts of Electrical Safety officers. Senior Assistant, Junior Assistant, Steve / P.A and group 'D' posts are sanctioned. Where as Zonal office Head is Assistant Director and under him, Posts of Electrical Safety officers, Junior Assistant, Steve / P.A and group 'D' posts are sanctioned. Regional officers are assigned the work of D.D.O as well as to. Check and control the administrative work of Zonal office. Various type of Inspections are being carried by DD/AD and ESO in under there jurisdiction Electrical accident. Enquiry related work is also being done by above officers. Based on qualification Govt. of U.P. has appointed many Deputy Director/ Assistant Director and Electrical Safety officers as Electrical Inspection under the provision of Section 162 of "The Electricity Act 2003".
